GameSir T4 Pro Controller not changing to Switch mode on PC

Recently I acquired a GameSir controller, the T4 Pro Controller. I specifically bought it for the Switch compatibility because of the gyroscopic sensors to try out gyro aim on PC. the controller connects to my PC without any problem both Bluetooth and USB cable, however, Steam always recognize it as an Xbox 360 controller making me unable to access the gyro settings because it doesn't recognize it as a Switch controller.

This controller has the function to change to other controllers from Xbox to Switch etc. the button combination to change it to Nintendo Switch controller is "Home + Y" and one restarted it should be recognized as a Switch controller, right? It doesn't. it always is recognized as a 360 controller and not a Switch controller.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong!? because I'm following carefully the instructions and other places online where they successfully connected the controller as a Switch controller.
