screen tearing issue and loss of fps on r9 390, i7 halp
Specs: Win7 home premium
Intel i7 4770k cpu 3.5 ghz
16 gb ram cosair vengence
sapphire r9 390 8 gb
evga 1000watt powersupply
2tb seagate barracuda
120 gb cosair neutron ssd
cosiar 760 t (tower)
asus VN248 1080p
I just got the rig and monitor and its pretty much running like a potato, it can barley get 60 fps on Wolfenstien new order on medium.
screen tearing on every game also videos like youtube or netflix.
Vsync is on for most games unless turning it off helped with the tearing.

any suggestions on how to atleast get good fps. it seems like it is getting worse fps then my old evga 760

60c for a gpu is fine and you said your cpu had good temps?
another thing you could try is reinstalling your gpu driver
use this http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

whats odd is that the only reason that you should get screen tearing is due to having framerates above your monitor rating
has it always been like this or did it just happen?

i just got this rig it was a replacement for the one the store lost at all aspects its a better pc but it is preforming terribly i know my gpu is being used it sits around 1000 ingame somewhere it must be bottle necking or maybe just a faulty card

download a program like HWMonitor and see what are your temps also make sure everything is plugged in well and isnt loose on the back of the computer and inside (also make sure your monitor is plugged into your gpu and not your mobo)

i have a touch screen fan controller that has 5 diffrent temp reading wires i have stuck one in the graphics card also the ram, motherboard and processor i can see all temps sit around 30-40 except the card witch is 30-60 i have checked all wires. also if it matters the overall inside temp is 26. i have check all cords the monitor is definitly in the gpu

are these temps at 100% load or at idle 20% or less

understress ram runs 30-40 gpu runs 50-60 motherboard and porcessor run around 35. i even spawned 50 zombies in 7days with ultra my gpu wasnt that stressed, cpu sat at about 37% but i stilll am getting 30 fps. in wolfenstrein in ultra it sits 40 fps all the time and it struggles to get 60 fps on medium usually drops to 40 if there is alot of shooting or explosions and from everything i can see my gpu is running 1000+ and cpu doesnt go above 50%.

how is that touch screen sensor connected? it really isnt needed due to on board sensors in the cpu gpu ram and mobo
Mеченый 31 ENE 2016 a las 3:14 p. m.
it is a small wire connected to a small thermometer that you can stick inside the radiator of the gpu and beside any contact or part that heats up i compare it to my onboard temp guage so i know its fairly it's accurate ( varies by a degree or two not much).

edit i have not placed them near moving parts or where they can interfear with preformance

this is a very stange problem you can run torture tests like prime 95 to see if theres a problem with your cpu it forces the cpu to run at 100% first do a cpu only test for about 30 mins and then do a mixed cpu and ram torture test for 30 mins
