Need advice
So there's the deal, I decided to upgrade my pc, and ordered some parts, however, I cant find any information on internet if they're compatible with my current parts that I'm keeping.

My current build:
Intel i7 2600k
4GB DDR3 Kingston
Palit GTS 450 1gb DDR3
ASRock H61M-VS
Codegen 500x PSU 230V 500W

I've ordered:
Ballistix Tactical Tracer 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz
Gainward GeForce GTX 980 Phantom 4096MB GDDR5
Antec EDGE 650w 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Power Supply
Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps

Will i have any problem getting it all together and running ? What concerns me most is my motherboard compatibility with new gpu. I know there's pretty smart people in these forums, so thanks in advance.

Put your parts together on {LINK REMOVIDO}. It will tell you any incompatibilities.

But to save you time, yes, you're okay.

who put that together for you?

4g of ram was kinda low when the 2600k was released
and the k cpu is unlocked, but the h/b board will not allow overclocking

that psu is a fire hazard, replace it asap

imho, start over with a new build

is it too late to cancel the order for the ssd?
kingston is not as good as they should be
swap it for a intel, crucial, mushkin or samsung

the other upgrades should work
just check the ram profiles to make sure they are all under 1.55v
use cpuz
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> spd tab
select each dimm and look voltage for all profiles
if any profile is over 1.55v that dimm should not be used on intel 1150 builds

Yeah, it's kinda too late to cancel. Yeah, my psu recently started to work very loudly, scary stuff, so I'm just waiting for new psu.. I bought this pc prebuilt. Only changed gpu, cause my gtx 460 overheated, so gts 450 from friend was temporary solution. All profiles are at 1.50 V

By the way, I figured cpu is not worth changing, since it was one of the best on market when i bought pc, and read that improvements on other generations arent that huge, is it true ?

i think intels focus is lowing the power consumption but there is a a good speed increase http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-2600K

The 2600k should be fine. With everything you're adding its going to be blazing fast compared to what you are currently running. I wouldnt have any worries. The Savage ssd read/write speed are up there with the samsung evo numbers.
