measure 12 inches starting from the point it slides into the back of my case into the pci slot to the front?

Okay thanks. Joined PC gaming this past summer so I'm still new to all this and wanted to make sure on hardware. Little concerned about airflow. But I have 2 fans with one at the back and front of the case. My friend that also works with computers that helped me install the PSU said I could get another fan for the top of the case if I run into heat issues.
I'm more wondering why you keep that noisy Intel stock cooler. :P
Never really noticed any noise from it. Something I'll change in the future. Cause I do plan on eventally upgrading motherboard and processor sometime in the next year.
