what cpu/mobo do you have?
post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
for a cpu upgrade, you need to find one compatable with the mobo
few desktops and most notebooks have the cpu soldered to the mobo (bga) and cannot be upgraded
amd has had backward compatable issues
many older chipsets were modded to support newer cpus at nerfed specs
and also power issues for higher tdp cpus in low power boards, which will cause throttling or fires
EVGA GeForce GTX 950 graphics card
500w power
8gb RAM
What CPU do you have now?
Supported processors.

This combo will work well though it's £200 rather than £100:

When you turn the PC on with the new CPU installed, it will say something like "New CPU installed!". You will be sent to your BIOS after that. Simply leave the BIOS and it should boot as normal with the new CPU.
Just be sure that the socket type is compatible and that you have enough power for it... and you should be fine.
Your motherboard is socket FM2. You can use FM2 socket type CPUs.
What CPU do you have now?
You'd be better off replacing the CPU and motherboard.
all of them have similar cpu performance
you may gain 2 cores (1 module with shared l2 cache and fpu)
but its still trash for gaming or cpu work
to beat that, a pentium g or i3 will be faster (even if clocked lower, due to core design)
but may also need new ram
check if your ram is compatible with intel 1150 builds
use cpuz
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> spd tab
select each dimm and look voltage for all profiles
if any profile is over 1.55v that dimm should not be used on newer intel builds
if yoru ram is under 1.55v, this would be a very nice upgrade for under £100

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor (£52.98 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: ASRock B85M-PRO3 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£45.80 @ Ebuyer)
Total: £98.78
g3258 is unlocked and overclockable to around 4ghz with the stock cooler, and 4.5-4.8 with good air or liquid cooling
if you need ram, save up another $100 and get an i5 build cpu/board/ram
