No system restore points
ok this is a very long story and I'm typing on my phone so please excuse any grammar or spelling errors.
I attempted to system restore my computer and it failed and whenever I would restart it would tell me "boot.mgr is missing"
I made a windows 7 recovery disc using my cousin's laptop and I am able to get to the system recovery options.
Startup repair fails every time
System restore and image recovery have no points to goto and when I try to activate system protection it tells me I'm in a limited diagnostic state and if I restore I can't undo it and the only options is okay but once I click that nothing happens
I have no idea what to do and was hoping someone has the patience to try and help me sort this out.
If anyone has anything I can feed into the command prompt to try and fix it I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok I tried chkdsk/f c: and it did something but I'm not sure if it completely fixed the problem

Does just boot to say; boot.mgr is missing?
Or can u actually access the F8 Boot Options Menu?

Try using the "Disable auto restart" option.
If it still can't reach the OS Desktop with either the Disable auto-restart or Disable driver signature checking; try this...

If those "disable" type of startups work though, once at OS desktop, then press
Winkey+R > type CMD > click OK

First run:

CHKDSK /F /R

Second run:

SFC /SCANNOW
