GTX 980M 4GB Lifespan
How long till i cant play aaa games on it and how long till it gives up. I play games on mid so it dont stresses that much

Well desktop models have different brands (Asus, EVGA, etc) and it depends on that. You could have a custom duel fan model, with a lifespan of up to 8 years on the blades. Some are designed to last and last with a prolonged lifespan.

It more just comes down to overclocking and/or heat issues.

You can happily run a graphics card at high settings so long it's running smooth and staying cool, there's no worries.

Since it's a laptop, consider a cooling pad for it? Is it current running hot and that's your concern?

Your question can't be answered. You'll find out when the performance drops below what is acceptable when you play the games you like and the life of an electronic component is always debatable once it's out of warranty.

you do not need to worry about stressing the parts unless the temps are in critical levels play with max graphics and if your temp is under 100c you should be fine for laptop gaming
