It looks like you can easily put a GTX 970 and new PSU in there. The system seems to already come with a 475W or 600W PSU. Either one will probably be enough to run a 970 if you want to try saving money on the PSU. You can use adapters if the PSU doesn't have the required 8 pin connector. I would replace it with a better PSU. Try your original PSU first if you want.
