But will that fit in the x51 as it is more than 9 inches long
slightly longer if you remove the front fan
Ok so this won't fit? --> http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00PLC0COG/?tag=pcp0f-21
https://www.zotac.com/au/product/graphics_card/gtx-970-0#spec
9.6in
So the front fan is 20mm so if i replace it with a 10mm one will it fit??
ita 165w gpu, max is 150w
gtx 970 is the strongest gpu that will work with it
if you want something better, you can get a m-atx or itx case and transplant the x51 mobo/cpu/hdd into it and add a quality 550+w psu and gtx 980+
I was going to but I dont have the funds to do it.
Also u need to keep in mind that any "OC" version of a GPU will use more power under loads then a "Reference" model.
Basically GTX 970 Reference is around the max you could use with the Dell 330W PowerSupply.
Otherwise take out the X51 internals and install them into a regular MicroATX case or other ATX case, then use an ATX power supply. Then with such a case and psu, you won't be limited as much with regards to physical GPU size or the power limits.
