What OS? Is the hard drive new or old, standard HDD or SSD? Do you have the original OS disc?

You may have to invest in an OS license and reinstall Windows fresh.

Download the Windows ISO from Microsoft's website. Use your existing license key or use the recovery sector to reimage.

True you could reinstall, but you'll need to get the key code to do so. Do you know your current key code? Most retail builds will have a Microsoft original hologram logo on them and usually the key code is there. Does your PC have a recovery partition to do this?

Should have taken a picture with your mobile camera of it.

(Always a good Idea to remove them from laptops too, after imaging the key).

oh well

Ask your vendor where you bought it? Maybe they have a record, or check the SERIAL number on the manufacturers website, ask them? Assuming it was an OEM key. Is it not a sticker on the back of your machine or in the pack?

That CAN be a bug, it really is not that hard to get around, just annoying.
If still working, use the F8 key for those Advanced Boot Options and select either of these and see which one gets your OS booted to Desktop:
- Disable Auto Restart on System Failure
- Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

Once in the OS, download and install SPECCY from Piriform.com
Once u load that up, click Operating Systems, look at your Product Key and write this down, be sure it is legible. For further backup u can also mouse-highlight the product key and press CTRL+C to copy and then paste it to a TXT file and store that on another drive u can get to at anytime, such as Networked Drive or USB Flash Drive.

If your system shipped with Win7 OS, there should be a Microsoft Windows 7 OS (COA) sticker on your system with your product key. If you purchased your own copy of OS, the sticker should be on the original disc sleeve/packaging it came in.

You can get rid of this "repair startup loop" once in Desktop by launching CMD as Admin (Winkey+R, once u see Run window, type CMD, click OK) and then type:
CHKDSK /F /R
press enter, let this scan finish without interruptions.

Also double check the Device Manager for any uninstalled or yellow-flagged devices listed. As that could be the reason for the system auto-booting into the Repair Tool due to a critical hardware driver is corrupted and/or missing, but which the repair tool can not fix.
