Random dots on my screen. :(
I recently got myself a 144 hz monitor, since I enjoy playing Counter-Strike.
I was loving it, until now. I moved it from house to house and when I started up my computer, some random green dots started appering on the screen.

I don't know how to fix or explain this, but this is a screenshot I took.
It doesen't show it at it's most severe.

I'm very bad at this computer stuff, but I was reading that it had something to do with the screen(as would make sense since I've only had it for like 3-4 days).
If this is not the case however, my graphics card is
Nvidia Geforce GTX 960

Sounds like stuck pixels. They can be very annoying. Do a google search for "stuck pixels on monitor" (you can be more specific to the model number of your monitor or if it's LED.....but you should be able to find pictures to compare to what you're seeing and some possible solutions to fix the issue.

If the monitor is new, you could always just return it for another.

It doesen't seem like they are stuck, since they are constantly moving with the colors and stuff like that.

It is mostly on videos and moving particles.
Probably 1 of 2 things then.

1) Could be a video driver problem. I have had issues in the past with updating my video driver for my GPU, the updated driver caused a lot of green pixels to show up in black dots (a good example would be shadows, in a game. The shadows would be green/black in color) in videos and games. I had to uninstall the driver and go back to the last working one.

2) Could be a monitor problem. Do you have another monitor you can connect to the computer to see how things look?

1) How do I revert back? As I said, I am quite bad at this computer stuff

2) I just moved house, and my other monitor is at the house I just moved from >.>

Pixelation issue, it's normally caused by overheating of the monitor and/or graphics card.

Worst case, it's a small area of the video memory damaged.
Minor case, it's the monitor cable damaged.

Ensure your PC and Monitor isn't overheating. Feel around the back of the PC case and Monitors, is it hot air? Could be hot pocketing and recycling hot air around the graphics card.

If not, then swap/replace the monitor cable, ensure the graphic card is seated correct and the monitor cable is firmly attached (not over tightened either). Take two fingers with your thumb behind, running up and down the length of the cable, just slightly bending it while connected and watching the monitor. If there's damage to the cable, this technique will normally show it up quite quickly.

What cable are you using (DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort, etc)?
Any adapters being used (DVI to VGA, etc)?

Okay. So I was quite retarded.
Well. My cable apparently has a hard time attaching to my computer, as I didn't know, because this has never been a problem with any of my monitors.

So, I have to attach it quite hard to the computer, before it will stop showing those red dots.
Thank you anyways, and to the others who tried to help. It was just probably me being quite retarded. :)
