[SOLVED] Help with Razer Deathadder problem

Hello! I'm having a minor but very annoying issue with my Razer Deathadder mouse.

I have the dpi/lighting settings configured how I like it via the Razer Synapse software which is required. This all works fine on startup, with my mouse dpi going to the correct value when I turn on the computer or wake it from sleep with the mouse plugged in. The problem occurs if I unplug the mouse at any point. After I plug the mouse back in, my settings are completely ignored by Windows. Regardless of what I set within Synapse, the mouse speed does not reflect the change. This problem is fixed when I restart the computer with the mouse plugged in, but I'd like to fix the problem rather than have to restart my computer anytime I unplug the mouse.

I've tried turning off Razer Synapse and restarting the program; disabling the mouse and re-enabling it; using all of the different USB ports available, including the original; and a handful of other things that I don't remember.

I can tell that Windows is using the mouse's default setting, if that helps; in Synapse I have the dpi set to 1200 with lights on the mouse off, and after the replug the dpi feels a little faster (default is 1800, so this is consistent) with the lights their default blue.

I've searched a lot on the internet using lots of different ways of asking the same question, but the most I could find was another guy on reddit who had the same problem, and was never answered.

Anyone have a fix? Thanks!

EDIT: Well, now it's not using the right settings even after restarting the computer. Awesome! Now I can't control dpi at all.

I haven't had that issue with my deathadder 3.5G. I didn't like the synapse update so stuck with driver v3.03. Might be worth a try if you don't need synapse.

I uninstalled Razer Synapse and installed the v3.03 driver and everything is working perfectly now. Even after unplugging and replugging, it uses the correct dpi settings. Thank you very much Alchemist!
