Btw, it only does this with this mouse because my other mouse that came with my computer works fine, I was just wondering why this mouse doesn't work right.
At first glance I would guess a sensor problem. But you could always try a different mousepad, and if the mouse has configuration software look to that as well.
1. Your wrist, and your lower naturally does that when moving something from side to side rapidly. You'll have to get used to moving your entire arm to move the mouse and adjusting the angle at which the mouse stays at with your wrist to do it perfectly straight.
2. Might be that your sensors are messed up. It's unlikely the case, but it can happen.
Given they've not had this problem with their other mice, it sounds like a sensor issue. Or possibly some strange ergonomic effect, perhaps a different grip causing weirdness.
Either way, unfortunately, you're probably gonna need a new mouse. If the sensor has failed, there's really no way to fix that. And if the ergonomics are causing this, well again you shouldn't be using a mouse that doesn't suit your arm. You run the risk of hurting yourself, I should know.
Last year I ran an Asus Spatha for a while, it was just the wrong mouse for me. It was designed for a man's hand or possibly a grizzly bear. I found it much too heavy, and would get severe pain in my shoulder after an hour or two. Eventually it got so bad that I shelved the mouse, even though I'm convinced it was one of the best mice I've ever own.
razer death adder elite
corsair m65
some noname mices
several system resets (installing windows etc.)
builded a new pc
used different surfaces / sensitivities etc.
Moved the mouse between parallel lines etc. i always have a perfect 45degree angle ...
this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Seems very odd for all those devices to do that, specially a razer death adder elite and the corsair m65, those are very accurate gamer mice without acceleration or faked smoothing.
Have you ever considered your desk or even the entire house is on a slight tilt? Use a level.
Some old houses are on a tilt due to previous earthquakes, floods or one side sinking in the earth. You can really notice this when filling a bath tub with water, checking the water angle. However, if it's just the desk you could prop up a leg side till it's even.
If it's not that, then the next thing to check is how you are using the mouse with your hand. Are you angling it and placing it down in a certain way. For example: The mouse cable might be angled and tight enough in a way it drags the mouse back. Or your hand might be moving it with a slight tilt and gravity with weight is dragging it back.
Unless it spins out, chances are you're doing it yourself.
Just deal with it (like you would through normally gaming), or hold the mouse at the correct angle.
I love how these two idiots just come up with a theory and then decide this is definitely the reason. What do you base this on??
I have exactly the same issue and I can assure you it is not from holding the mouse incorrectly. I recently bought the HERO G502 and there is a clear bug with it. If you start off at the bottom of the screen and move the mouse all the way to the top you can clearly feel how far you need to stretch to reach the top of the screen. Now take the mouse back down and simply swipe it left and right for a few second and you'll be at the top of the screen again WITHOUT ANY OF THE STRETCHING you had to do initially to move your mouse to the top of the screen. This clearly shows that the mouse is moving upwards gradually as you move left and right.
Stop making useless idiotic comments if you do not know what you are talking about.
On that note, has anyone with actual experience found a fix for this yet?
Awesome thank you. I'll just stick with it and train more like you suggest.
It happens, it's likely you're doing it too, sit there for a few moments, practice with different angles, if it still happens then, it's a mouse issue, if not, it's a you issue.
So you're basically saying YOU are the issue because you are inexperienced with the mouse.
Any sane person would've refunded the mouse, or gotten a replacement, if they experienced these issues.
Well smart### I did end up getting a refund because it turns out it was the sensor that is bugged. So much for your clever little comments. Again, rather keep quite if have no idea what you are talking about. You just spam these forums with useless information.
