Gtx 970Ti or Gtx 980 is there much difference?
Hey I want to upgraded my GPU. just wondering if i should pay that little extra for the Gtx 980? thanks

There's no such thing as a 970Ti.

But as far as cards go, the best values are the 970 ($300) or the 980ti ($600). The 980 isn't that good a value for the power it has which is not that far above the 970.

Yeah i realised that after i posted my bad. so u think a 970? ive heard that they have a small fault when having to use all there on board ram they crash is this true??

If you are gaming on 1080p the VRAM issue won't be of any consequence. Above 1080p you will probably want a better card anyway.

yeah im just on 1080p nothing higher. i have a 500W psu i that enough. i think i need a no one though as i onl have one 6 pin plug for the GPU.

I got an MSI GTX 970 runs great on ultra on most triple A title games on 1080p60fps, and yes you need an 8 pin connector (6pin & 2pin). :steamhappy:

Just upgraded to a 970 what a beast loving it perfect 1080p card.
