GTX 960 & Intel I5 4690K Frame Drops GTA V? New to PC Gaming?

*BEFORE YOU GIVE ME ADVICE, I OPTIMIZED SETTINGS OF THE GAMES FOR MY GPU USING GEFORCE EXPERIENCE IF THAT HELPS! :)*

Intel i5 4690K

GTX 960 4GB OC Edition

Corsair 8 GB Gaming Ram

550W Power Supply

Windows 10

Today morning, GTA V was great. After downloading 2 new games from the Steam Sale, I shut down my computer.

When I turned the game back on, I noticed the frame drops were present again :/.

A Few Easy Questions

1) I feel a little bit of warm air coming out from the computer from the GTX 960. Is this normal?

2) Are there any preferable settings you recommend? GTA had a lot of the things set on Very High but I don't think it is because of this because I was playing with it's regular settings with no lag before.

3) Is my ram not enough? If so, what can I do to clear it up without harming anything like processes?

sigh.

1: yea, warm air from a gpu is normal - helloo!
2: run what ever settings the game defaults to after deleting settings.xml
3 - 8gb ram is enough yes.
to check and make sure what the actual gpu and cpu temps are download HWMonitor and keep an eye on it if anything is over 80c report back
Yes run Prime95 + FurMark to stress CPU & GPU and see what max temps u get.
