Logitech Software *Warning*
If you using ANY Logitech Keyboard/Mouse Software!
Check to see if your GPU stays at full-3D-Clocks when these are actively running, while system is idle. I noticed my GPU always running at full-3D-Clocks even when system-idle and couldn't figure out why. Then I noticed closing Logitech Gaming Software did the trick.

So to combat this, go into NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings tab > add the main .EXE in there for such software that does this; such as:
- C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\LCore.exe
-or-
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech Gaming Software\LCore.exe
Then make a change just for this .EXE to have the GPU Power Management set to Adaptive rather than Global Default. This will ensure this software does not cause GPU 3D clocks to enforce, resulting in higher idle GPU temps.

Not sure how to do this if u have AMD GPU; I'm sure others could chime in with regards to Per-App Settings in AMD Catalyst/Crimson.

der hexer

that's why I'm here..lol
the gpu clock goes down after exiting the game, but the memory clock stays at 2200 Mhz

I have a logic Tech Cam with the software, would that be it??

well, i can't check it from here, but you can.
do you have multiple monitors connected?
this is weird , I adjusted the refresh rate back to 144 Hz, now the memory clock has gone done again to 300 Mhz, now I don't want to shut down the PC lmao
