Coaxial coupler question
OK so a while back I cut my underground coax cable line in two places, so I just crimped on connectors (2 each for each severed line, 4 total) and added couplers at each break. I didn't have a long enough cable at the time create one splice.

So I'm thinking of buying a longer cable now and eliminating one of the couplers.

BTW by coupler I mean this https://imgur.com/a/GgsppnQ not to be confused with a splitter.

Will doing so improve both my signal strength AND latency (ping) or just the signal strength? Or should I just leave it? If anyone is confused this is what I mean https://imgur.com/a/eSmvuwE

Speedtest says I'm getting about 950mbps on a 1000mbps service plan so it's pretty good even with two couplers and my concern is not speed, it's latency (ping) for online gaming.

So you want to remove one of the two couplers? It should improve the signal strenght and latency should make very little to no difference.

Yes.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. Probably should leave it.
