is zotac a good gpu brand?
I wanna upgrade my gpu to RTX 40 series, currently have a 2070 from MSI.
I've been eyeing Zotac but is it as good as MSI? I usually upgrade my rig after 5 years.

Sorry for english and thanks for replying guys.

I've not heard/read anything negative about them recently. I had a Zotac 1070 back in 2018, it was fine.

think your best bet is to check the specs of the gpu. different companies gives their gpus different clocks. zotac have lower prices and weaker clocks than msi. i compared 4 identical cards. the msi one is the fastest while pny is the slowest. msi and asus was equal in price.

Had one, broke in less then a month. Been sticking only to ASUS and MSI ever since and none of them had problems.
asus graphics cards generally is safe. i have 2 asus graphics cards: one gtx 650 ti boost and one gt 630m(slightly over specs, as it have 2 gigabytes of vram rather than 1 gigabyte) and they work well.

I heard they use cheap PCB components that are unreliable and result in unstable power. And that their customer service is bad.

the biggest issue with them was a server not set up right and google searches returning full RMA pages with peoples info on it.......yes they are lower end cards with cheaper PCBs, fans and heat sinks....BUT they still make good cards for the price paid most days.....

Good GPU brands: Asus, MSI, AMD, Nvidia, EVGA, XFX, Gigabyte.
All else is try at your own risk.
evga is not so good actually. i had an evga gtx 660 ti and diablo 3 burned it out directly. the game barely had time to run, before it overheated. then i tried lego star wars 2 after that and i burned completely and never worked again. that graphics card was always a bit unstable and crashed a lot. my asus gpus however have not burned out. my gigabyte gpus was replaced, because of age. i needed something stronger.

Zotac have been making GPUs for a long time, i have a Zotac 2070 that's still going strong in another rig.

All card manufacturers can make good and bad GPUs as it a mass produced item, so just do your research and read user reviews on the GPU you want.

zotac`s graphics cards is cheaper, though they are slower. msi`s graphics cards costs more but is faster. that is all the information i have.
