Steam Enabled On Startup Makes Windows Unresponsive
I've been having a problem with my computer for the past month or so that makes my computer not respond as soon as I log in. When I login the startup programs don't kick in, I cannot open any app, right click, nor turn off/restart pc. Basically I'm left with not being able to do anything besides forcing-shut off or forcing restart.

I then found a temporary solution which is to immediately open task manager as soon as I enter windows (if I do it too late it just won't work and I need to force restart). I did a clean windows re-install and found this same problem, then I did a clean boot as suggested by Microsoft and figured out the program causing this problem is Steam.

It seems that if I enable Steam on startup on the task manager, it just bricks my windows... Now that I've disabled it, my computer is working perfectly fine; I can just open steam manually and it works just right, so I'm not sure what to do now.

Do I just leave steam as it is and move on or is there something I can check on the app to completely resolve this? Now that I've found out how to 'partially resolve' this, it is more an inconvenience than anything else. Has anyone else found this issue? note that I use NordVPN's protection so I'm not sure if it might mess something with steam. Since this is a fresh start I only have a couple programs installed - NordVPN, NordPass, Chrome, Bluebeam, Battlenet and Microsoft's default apps.

Never allow any game clients in OS Startup. If you have 2 GPUs then go to Grpahics Settings and add Steam.exe and games to the list and change options to High Performance GPU.

Put shortcut on Desktop for game clients, right click it and click Run As Admin after OS starts up.
