[Gamers Nexus] "We Cannot Comfortably Recommend Intel CPUs"

Another outlet comes out with a bold statement regarding the situation regarding Intel's CPU woes. Gamers Nexus states that until there's some transparency from Intel, they can not recommend intel CPUs.

Furthermore, statements are made that they've received tips (take these for what they're worth, mind you) that there could be oxidation occurring internally.

Worse, with AMD's Zen 5 CPUs releasing in a week, this raises questions of how, exactly, they benchmark them against them.

If Intel knows what's going on, I hope they come forward and do the right thing; disclose it, reimburse those affected, and we can move on (trust will be broken, but less broken and able to be mended sooner if they do this). If they know what's going on, and don't come forward, I hope pressure like this continues, because I don't want an Intel that I don't consider viable, because an AMD only market would be awful. If Intel genuinely doesn't know what's going on, then I hope they figure it out, and soon.

Update: Intel has released a statement.

They are claiming "elevated operating voltage" is causing "instability" in some Raptor Lake desktop processors.

"Intel is committed to making this right with our customers, and we continue asking any customers currently experiencing instability issues on their Intel Core 13th/14th Gen desktop processors reach out to Intel Customer Support for further assistance."

That part is a good thing. Hopefully these issues get fixed, once and for all, and without performance/advertised operating specifications being negatively affected.

steve thrives on these "bomb" vitriol vidoes so thats kinda what he makes when new stuff is sluggish.

this time hes taking some one elses word for it without verifying anything with the companies the man contacted.
and also polls already show. its not as bad as he says it is.

I just can't help but feel like you have some sort of agenda to minimalise this issue... I was here a couple days ago debating this with you and after getting you to admit there was an issue was abruptly cut off, no doubt due to some report spamming...

but still here you are pushing this issue despite yet another outlet coming out with these same ideas... and you just go on like "not this isn't happening"... is your "proof" still just that your one processor you claim to have with no evidence what-so-ever is working?

NOPE. polls should have done that already for me if you actually kind find them. no i will not tell you where they are, some of them are sites that i don't want lots of people to know about. they are communities of tech heads that research this stuff like me and they don't like newbs or people who talk like everyone here does to others on the steam forums.
they used to be IRC channels, they are mostly made up of people who are good at hacking.
but they know their tech.

this guy came out of the woodwork like a rat and dropped a rumor bomb that all the sheep are gonna follow cuz it was picked up by steve and then steve embellished it to 50% of all processors when its really just these few companies.
the widespread issue is not happening.
the isolated companies problems are.
