asrock b650e taichi lite vs x670e steel legend?
which should i get? the reason i'm considering each is the 7 segment display of the taichi lite and the 2nd usb3.2 internal i/o header of the steel legend. the reason each are of interest too are the 7 egment is better than the led system my current mobo has for identifying problems; and the 2nd usb 3.2 since i have the argb controller for the lancool 216 for the extra usb ports it gives. both mobos are like about $10, $20 usd of each other.

i needed those extra usb ports that the argb controller gives since i use wireless keyboard, mouse, headset, and controller. i use wireless since i originally set everything up around doing split screen on my consloe since i had a friend who would come over and play some games split screen together. and my couch was 4 feet at its shortest from my pc.

i'm still new when it cones to identifying problems overall (especially during boot up). which is why the 7 segment display is nice for me. the 7 segment display can gives better info then the led systyem.

the other differences of the back panel i/o and m.2 slots between them i don't really care. i'm not to concern about the differences between the b650 and the x670 chipsets. although i would prefer the x670.

both are overkill for vrm design
24+2+1 (25w x 24 phases = ~600w to cpu cores)
16+2+1 (25w x 16 phases = ~400w to cpu cores)

as for the rest of its needs and price, its up to you

So you will pay incase theres a problem which may never happen? I dont get it. A basic x670e is enough for anyone? Whats wrong with a normal x670e?

I bought the tomahawk wifi for half the taichi and my fps will be the same. Maybe 1fps more due to msi 7800x3d saucey bios mode.

Taichi Lite has the Killer Lan, ASM sata controller and Intel USB4, none of those are great tbh.

For me personally the b650 taichi lite would be a better fit.
Proper error display is a huge advantage. So easy to google an error code versus some blinks and flashes.

USB3.2 is nice but mostly for external storage. I don’t see any advantage for accessories over 3.1.

You dont even get your own board back or didnt. Gamers Nexus said you just get back a board. So people who went in with usb issues get back a board that had sata isues etc lol.

Nasty!

Ok, suggest an equivalent to that board, cause I cannot find any.
Must have only USB 3.2 ports in A or C mode, none of the old junk.
(prefer thunderbolt but that won't be embedded)
