If you don’t need microphone then i would suggest sennheiser momentum 4
This depends on your budget but also there isn't really a "good headset" as all headsets are pretty much out done by headphones and a mic at all price points.

For the budget end check out the shp9500/shp9500s/shp9600/shp9600s whatever the cheapest model is at the time, should be somewhere in the $50~$60 USD range and then add a 3.5mm cord mic with a boom arm. They go for $10~$20 USD and replace the normal cord.

This setup will destroy just about any headset in both output and mic quality without breaking the bank.

If you have a bit more to spare you can change the headphone out for a fidelio x2hr and use the same kind of mic.

This will be even better.

These have removable cables (which is why these mics can be used), removable pads, and much more durable frames when compared to gaming headsets.

Gaming headsets especially the hyperx ones have pads that flake, poor sound for the price, and are pretty fragile making them a yearly purchase for those that don't know better.

I bought my Sennheiser HD 650s for $200 in 2017 and they are still MINT. Just a $20 pad swap.

People have had theirs for well over 20 years. I know people who have had their Fidelio x2's since 2014 ish and only swapped the pads for less than $20.

Headphones are a good investment.
If you don`t need mic then Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. Good comfort, good sound and price is not too crazy either.
If you are looking something cheaper then Audio Technica ATH-M30X, for this price they are pretty damn nice.

fiio jt1, excellent quality for the price and it has a good mic, but it needs noise suppression

yeah i want something that has good sound quality.

like listening to a real good home threatre studio but with headphones basicly.

dont know if this matters, but does a headset only do minor part of the aspect, or does having a good soundcard / on-board sound card on mobo matter, or external / internal sound card, and drivers etc?

or is a headset self independent out of all those and run on its own hardware and ignore the systems sound card / drivers?
Logitech G Pro X, wired or wireless works nicely.

My only complaint is I took the microphone off so I could eat while wearing it, and it got lost.

then you want open back headsets. I use a blue yeti mic on a table mount and sennheiser hd599

It's not perfect studio quality and you can't expect that from headphones that cost 100€ but they do a decent enough job

as for soundboard I would look at av and audiophile forums. I imagine you get better advice there

There's no comparison, like you said "a real good home threatre studio" would have $1000+ tower speakers, you can't possibly have the sound that comes out of that from headphones, a set of headphones is just a substitute for when you can't use the speakers.
Get something that sounds great but forget the "real good home theater" sound

there are some really good headsets
but none are bt or wireless

for solo gaming, nothing beats a good 5.1/7.1 receiver and bookshelf speakers with powered sub
would buy microphone and headphones seperated .. better quality in total ..

Wireless headsets are amazing.

Why must holier than thou people always suggest a set of headphones and a mic when people specifically ask about headsets? Have you considered that a lot of people want to be able to communicate with their team mates when they are afk?
To the OP I've been using Arctis Pro wireless for years now and they are great. They have the spare hot swappable battery that's always charged so you never have a flat headset.

thanks for all inputs,

the logitech g pro x guy, and arctis pro wireless guy, how is the sound in FPS games with those headsets? can you hear enemy footsteps and in what direction they are coming from? are they useable for long period of time (gaming) without feeling uncomfort in your ear/head/ear canals? like 4-6 hours of gaming.

and not sure if it matter, but do you have a sound card on your mobo or you just have the basic realtek one most mobos have today? or do you even have realteks audio driver installed or is it needed at all if the headsets install and uses it own driver/software?
Pro X 2 Lightspeed has very good 7.1 sound.

Though for in-game directional audio, I mostly just use it for Minecraft.

I checked Rtings.com and I saw that Lightspeed G535 got very good score, in all areas. are those a good headset? because they sell them here on sale now too for a very good price.

What will that video do? is it for testing your headset audio?
