As long as your PSU is capable of powering it, it will work perfectly fine.

it will game but not great......PSU will be the biggest issue and real world newer games will be limited by the CPU before the GPU......BUT with all this said it will play a lot of games without issues.....just be ready to mess with settings the newer the game gets and understand you will have stuttering issues you never are able to fix in new games......but on the upside the 4060 will be a OK hold over GPU when you do upgrade CPU's and motherboard

on the stuttering side for all Nvidia GPU's.....DISABLE HDMI audio if not in use as it alone will cause stuttering.....this goes for any GPU from the GTX460 to the RTX 4090.....make sure its disabled in DEVICE MANAGER

The machine will game just fine. It can run anything you throw at it.

the intel hx10 boards are mostly junk
good for office or htpc builds
not really good for higher tdp cpu or gaming builds
3+1+1 no cooling for mosfets, ~45-60w to cpu cores max

intel says 9400f is 65w
the board will never be able to let it hold its max turbo or even its stock clocks at load

Yes, it will work fine for most games currently in the market on 1080p. Even 1440p will work fiine with most games.
There will be no issues between your CPU and GPU.

Your motherboard supports 95W CPU and there is no reason to worry about this.

Regarding PSU, you just have to make sure that it can give enough power even on full load. You can use PSU calculator for initial check. Once you have your PC ready you can run some stress tests.

only due to the way it has the same socket
the board will throttle the cpu to keep it under the 45-60w it can deliver to it

no.....are you really trying to tell this guy that this will play anything out there knowing it will fall flat on its face with a game like CYBERPUNK???......he can play DOTA2 all day long at over 200 frames.....bet money he wont see 40 frames in cyberpunk without low settings on everything and even then it could still be 40 frames.......:steamsalty:

and when the vrms overheat and the board throttles,
games often crash because things get done out of order

newer cpus do not throttle all cores at the same time or same speeds

ex.

update A
update B
update C = A+B
repeat

if both a and b are not updated before C is calculated for the next step, it can cause a crash
