Linux has quirks. Windows has quirks. Mac OS has quirks. Everything has quirks, and especially if you move from one system to another you will encounter them. There really is no perfect system, you just have to pick the imperfections you are ok with.
Except TempleOS, of course. TempleOS is perfect.
this is not the first time and it wont be the last. i believe it is a flaw in linux itself.

and again im not a born yesterday person. don't patronize me.
im not talking about the first time it happenend on pi.
its happened on a few of them.
it was bad on ubuntu 10. never used any other ubuntu again.
and ubuntu is the easiest version of linux, set and forget.
until the config itself goes wobbly.
Either way, perhaps we should try and help OP instead of talking about the merits of Linux. We're derailing the thread a bit.
2. You do not "program" it.
3. Exactly, you need guides, you do not understand how to use Linux and then blame it for your own lack of know-how.
4. Pi Linux is identical to any other Linux, any documentation which works for any other platform is easily ported to the Pi and is usually 1:1 compatible.
Totally can’t work…. But can spend all day on Internet forums and playing video games 🤔
Yeah, checks out. 🤦♀️
Your router is connected to a public network, if it has a layer3 vulnerability wtf does someone need its MAC address? Also, you clearly don’t know what arp is…
I don't think you can get "no bloat" with Windows, anyway. You can reduce the bloat, but not reach "no bloat".
my router is an isolated network because of my pi. and the only thing my router does is use the ip my isp gave me and lets the modem through. the modem itself has a type of firewall too.
i dare you to to try it on me. my routers ip is 192.168.1.1
this is the host info from my ip.
no im not giving you the rest so you can't see where i live.
233.191
with that you have the ability to find the rest if you know what you are doing.

It being reachable on the internet means it is public.
