Yes, the wall is angled slightly. The clock was put up before I had the desk there.
I dont have amazing vr space in the room, but I can do PC VR and some vr standing games, such as beat saber or Star wars vader immortal Also enough room for TWD as well. Games that require more movement, like boxing, Ill take the vr headset outside on a cloudy day*did that with the quest 2 for 3 years and never had any issues. Been doing that with the Quest 3 without issue.
The paint is indeed 2 toned and I did look for some corner shaped desks before deciding with what I got. I wanted to use the built in wall lip since my TV fits perfectly and eliminates the need to mount it to the wall.
Yeah, life long SW fan. Saw the original Empire Strikes Back and ROTJ in theaters, but I was so young, and seen them so many times I dont remember going to the theaters.
I am an overall space fan, but Star Wars Geek 100%!
I dont have any Costco near me, and I already bought everything I need. Setup is complete.
I moved 13 years ago from the City of Chicago to a 470 acre farm. I am lucky we even have high speed cable.
We have no fire department, no post office no police. Everything comes from the next town over. But we also have none of those city related taxes, which makes life so much nicer.
The down side is, the closet places like Costco or Ikea would be to drive 200 + miles to the nearest major city to get what I need.
If you click my artwork you can watch the changes of my battlestation over the years. This one should last me a good 5 years. The desk weighs about 107 lbs alone and can hold 187lbs.
It is big enough for my tower plus a dual monitor setup. Zero shake to the desk and the pre cut wire management cable is a plus. Despite it being sold as a gamer desk I went with the all black model because it was the most mature looking compared to the rest.
I hear ya. I have all the rgb turned off on mine, but my desk for entertainment is just that, for R&R. I got the desk in the garage for all that other stuff.
I went from living next to MidWay Airport in Chicago Illinois, to this after my divorce.

Needlless to say, if ever a zombie Apocalypse, my chances of surviving are looking really really good LMAO
RED is very easy on the eyes and doesn't strain them much if at all.
The whole point of RGB was really so you have much more choice in the color you use. I find it rather dumb to be used as a means to cycle through the whole damn rainbow, like you're flashing some LGBT pride BS.
Red!!! This is the way!
I was looking for my all red setup from a few years ago. I am not a fan of RGB, but I did try to to an all reactive setup, I wanted it so lights would react to what was on screen, but after several fails, and the insane prices of govee and the issues with SignalRGB I just settled on my Darth Vader Red/black setup.
My Keyboard I always have set to RED backlighting. I don't need that crap were your Keyboard changes colors when you type and all that BS, which is exactly what it all is. Sure it might seem cool at some show or something or doing online videos, but in real life, who gives a F about that non-sense.
Do I install any Keyboard or Mouse software? NO because I want as little bloat on my PCs as possible. I have used many Keyboards over the years to where I can install their software, change the Backlighting Color and the Macros; then uninstall the software afterwards because now those changes are saved in the Keyboard ROM.
yeah that was why I tried using SignalRGB, one software to rule them all. But sadly it comes with a massive temp increase, and it happens to alot of people. I have since given up on the entire rgb craze. I like having red, but I usually just turn it all off anyway.
Next pc build wont even have rgb anything.
Ok I couldnt find them on my old channel so I reuploaded them.
This was my closet reactive setup

But it was too small and I didnt like it.
Here is my reactive all red setup
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/V_3ECyKgL4o
But like I said, the SignalRGB causes some temp issues, when using it, my pc temp rose hotter than playing cp2077.
Never could solve it and just went all middle age on it and said, to hell with it. It's all red or no lights.
But this is why I went for rgb lighting. I am over it now.
Topic is over, I got the desk and posted the end results. Also built 2 of them before, wasnt a fan of making my own, I am happy with what I bought but thanks.
