I built 3 over the past decade. Wasnt happy with any of them.
Anyway I called an audible and just bought this off best buy today.

I had the knock off version and it lasted for 3 years, so if a poor made knock off got me 3 years, this will get me atleast 3. And it's the size I need.
I dont know anybody who does that, and the custom places would charge double to triple the price. I am just not that detailed orientated because it always looks like a drink made it when I make it.
You can look through my setups and see my closet setup that I built. lol
Anyway I bought the desk and just picked up another 4k 144hz monitor because I have a damn monitor addiction.
Looks great and it's stronger and more stable than most desks. And I've got it for free,
Worth to check Facebook Market for some options.
Yeah I checked there.
I ended up getting the Arozzi desk, I did have a knock off of it that lasted 3 years under not so gentle treatment, so I figure if the boot leg version lasted 3 years under rough treatment, the real mccoy should last 5 + with care.
I ended up snagging a MSI 27 inch 4k 144hz monitor as well. I am going to retire my LG C3 back to being an actual TV
Ill update my profile once the new build it done.
I still play to use it, but it will be more a tv and as a 2nd monitor. At times when I decide to play story rick games I will be able to play on it.
But have you ever tried to PVP on a 42 inch screen? Big screens are great for single player games and movies, but suck for multi player games and web surfing,
The price was perfect for me. Yes the LG c3 is better in colors, but the size was too much at times.
and a set of metal legs

And made mine exactly like I wanted it for not even $300
LOL I fee ya, but some games I still enjoy. games like The Division I can play solo, but on a screen so big mp games are sometimes meh.
I have a 24 inch 1440p, but 1440p after 4k is just so sad for me. So the smaller 4k will be the middle ground in my build.
Nice!
nice.

My desk arrived. Waiting for the monitor now.

Nice setup. Looks like it turned out good. You got that whole room open for room scale VR? I'm also curious about the portion of wall where the clock is; it looks like it is slightly angled? or is that an optical illusion from the slightly darker shade of paint?
Oh and also, I'm sorry for your loss. 😂
You're clearly a diehard Starwars fan, and they've absolutely butchered the franchise.
