0x125 Microcode - significant performance downgrade
anyone else? it also messed with my voltages and i had to set them myself. they even thermal throttled after the update.

yeah that is the way it should be.....Intel has been overvolting chips for the last 4 gens to compete with AMD as they could not do it without frying people's hardware......

I could still hit 35K points on Cinebench on my 13900K. No significant difference running on my normal OS or on my "low bloat" USB stick. I think both have VBS turned on too.

Remember, previous CPUs got performance degradations in their lifetime due to security mitigations in their microcode.

Hopefully it'll get at least some people to switch to AMD next time they upgrade. Doubtful people have company loyalty for some reason.

Perhaps anyone who has any particular interest, like stock investments, should make sure to disclose that.
