its a small small minority until some one proves it otherwise.
and i will happily die on this hill.
No, they more or less confirm that ANY and ALL chips that are rated 65 W and up in the 13th and 14th gen lineup are affected. THAT much is confirmed. There is no "if, but, maybe etc."
who am i ? the topic is about whether or not its widespread not if its happening or not.
Like I said, if you're expecting Intel themselves to admit to their ♥♥♥♥♥♥, you're NOT going to get that. Asking people for the impossible isn't asking for "valid evidence". It's you refusing to accept what should be obvious by all the signs and implications, simply because people can't magically conjure evidence for you straight from the horse's mouth just to make a "believer" out of you.
almost all of what every one of you is saying about this is head cannon.
if you don't care if i believe you i dont care, these posts aren't even really talking to you, they are simply scrutinizing your reasoning for everyone else who can think for themselves rather than rely on an appeal to authority fallacy.
Because it's NOT rumors? There's now been obvious failures, backed up by statistical percentages, indicating that a LOT more of the chips are failing or have failed then initially believed. Since Intel apparently knew about this problem for the past 2 years, and didn't say anything now, it's no surprise that now some of that information and instability is coming to light.
Also, these articles don't get to make claims and be published without having evidence to back up their argument. Else, Intel could sue them for libel. Intel knows however that it's the truth, so they can't play dumb or demand any publications to retract their statements, because said publications have verifiable evidence and claims to their arguments. You refusing to believe what has clearly been proven time and again is your problem.
so that it can be proven to be true.
if there is no proof then there is no truth.
