2K monitor?
My new build is on the way, and actually I have a 1080p monitor...
Suggestions about a monitor (preferably 27") to couple with a 4070TI Super?
Thanks!

Make the world a better place and stop calling 1440p "2K" like an idiot........

There's a reason for it. 1440p technically refers to the horizontal resolution. 2k refers to the vertical resolution. You can have a 1440p ultra wide screen that is more like 5k. This terminology excludes that. Still though, 1080p is technically closer to 2k than 16:9 1440p. 16:9 1440p is more like 2.5k, pushing 2.6k.

People should stop calling "4k" 4k though. The U.H.D. resolution typically referred to as 4k isn't even 4000 pixels wide. 2160p would be more accurate.
There is literally zero reason for it, it's just marketing, that's all it is. Same reason why 2160p isn't 4K, it's just marketing names to make it distinct and easy for people to remember.

It's based on DCI resolutions, DCI 4K is 4096x2160p, DCI 2K is 2048x1080, 1920x1080 is closer to being accurately called 2K than 1440p would ever be, but it was already marketed as Full HD for the longest time.

1080, 1440, 2160, are all the vertical measurements, not the horizontal measurements, and DCI standard goes by the horizontal measurement, not the vertical, whereas computer monitor resolutions are often measured by the vertical measurements.

DCI's standard typically rounds down, so technically 1440p would be 2.5K.

Just call it what it is and stop with the K nonsense.

1080p 16:9 vs 21:9
1440p 16:9 vs 21:9
2160p 16:9 (some true 4K TVs are 16:10)

didnt Samsung call one of their ultra wide monitors 8K when its in fact 2x 2160p
Ok, back to the original question:
How about this one? MSI G274QPX
I have a doubt.... Someone saying that 240Hz need a GPU as a RTX4090... Im searching a monitor for a RTX4070TI Super...

Its an average monitor with 5yr old tech. I own fast ips... VG259QM 240hz modes blurry. Only 280hz i will use. I dont have an issue with 60hz oleds ips is terrible tech.

My displays;

VG259QM FAST IPS
AW3423DW OLED
13A1F OLED

Also being particulary picky about stutter and smoothess anything above a solid 120 or holding a static framelocked 120 fps works brilliantly. Anything below 120fps doesnt seem to work or look right even with gsync but anything in the 120-240fps range is fantastic.
