error 0x00000007 on gtx 1070

i reinstaled windows 10 and downloaded new drivers to gtx 1070 (560.70) after that i tried to play “world of tanks blitz “ then it showed me „error rendering 0x00000007 ; error graphics drivers , App can’t continue and gona be turned off “ i tryed whit older driver (556.12)and it showed same error

pls help

How exactly do you determine when you should stop updating your (in my case nvidia) gpu drivers?

I'm the owner of a 3080(10GB) so when should that card stop being driver updated by the user realistically?

Would it be like after 5080/5090 releases or maybe the generation after?

Again you folks doing clean OS you have to install the basics.

Install each of these via MS Redist package off their website, for both X86 and X64

NET Framework > bring up classic Control Panel from Windows File Explorer, go to Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On/Off > tick box for NET and ASP Frameworks and click OK > Get via Windows Updates. Reboot once

Yes because SOME games don't require any of those extras; most will.

So whenever a user does a fresh install or factory reset of WinOS, it's common practice that those Redist Packages must be installed, since WinOS does not come with them "out of the box"

If you Google "error rendering 0x00000007" you will see several hits on this issue. Look there before fiddling with drivers.

my results seem to indicate it's a boot sector error... probably a bad windows install.

have you tried uninstalling it and plugging it back in again?

edit: unless it's 0x00000007b... then it might be a compatability issue... which could also be the result of a bad windows install or just not getting it up properly.

HI guys i bougth ASUS RADEON RX 470 MIning 4gb 256bit(i bued it used , old owner used it for Crypto Mining) and is showed me error 43 i tried to instal new bios instaling older drivers i ben in safemod and tryied other stuff
PLS help i can't do anything

a 'mining' gpu has no video outputs

to use it for a display gpu, you need to install modded igpu laptop drivers for desktop
that will allow the mining gpu to write to the igpu frame buffer

putting another bios on the gpu will brick the card
so, odds are its 99% dead unless you can re-flash its orig bios back on the card
