error 0x00000007 on gtx 1070

i reinstaled windows 10 and downloaded new drivers to gtx 1070 (560.70) after that i tried to play “world of tanks blitz “ then it showed me „error rendering 0x00000007 ; error graphics drivers , App can’t continue and gona be turned off “ i tryed whit older driver (556.12)and it showed same error

pls help

May be you can use system restaure before you applyed both drivers ...or use ddu for a clean install of the last one

get the correct ones from the mobo mfg site, and amd/intel/nvidia
never windows update

once you have the correct ones, they rarely need to be updated
1070 is an older gpu, newer drivers have optimizations for current gen gpus, not older ones

i used older drivers too and sam error
i tryed update bios and same error showed up i tryed switching to a different video card and error vanish
i used gtx 1070 on other computer and same error showed up
fr idk what to do

get all the drivers for the pc

from the mobo mfg or oem site

If you Google "error rendering 0x00000007" you will see several hits on this issue. Look there before fiddling with drivers.

manually running the games redists may also fix it
but steam should run them on the first time you run the game

but if you upgrade the os or one of the ms rollups changes drivers or things, the redists may need to be run again, which steam does not do every time

steam -> library -> select game -> gear -> properties -> local files tab -> browse local files
open the redists folder and run each of them as administrator

or maybe steam did try to run them,
but if steam is not run as admin, it would not be able to complete their installs properly

make sure steam is set to run as admin so it has the rights to install the redists and 3rd party installers without errors or not allowing the games to run properly

correct driver from amd/nvidia is always better than latest if its a previous gen gpu
as long as the driver was made after the release of the next gen gpu, thats the best it will ever be

only exception is the intel arc/xe gpu drivers, which they change specifically for games, as they did not have the dx9 instructions on the gpu and the driver needs to convert dx9 code to dx12 for the gpu to run it

exit steam fully
check steam shortcut properties, comparability, all users, tick run as admin
run steam again
then run all the redists for the game as administrator

steam will not try to run them a 2nd time, only on first run
they probably did not install since they were not run as admin the first time

just do that and shortcut stop working
and new problem showed up gpu fans stop showin rpm after instaling driver 555.99
