is Outervision psu calculator even remotely correct?

i have a system with a 450w PSU, that draws no where near what outervision is suggesting

it spits out 454W https://outervision.com/b/aksArX

from the wall this set up only uses 370w
with Prime95 With AVX & Small FFTs + MSI Kombustor GPU Core Burner both running maxing out cpu/gpu utilisation. What gives?

like actually pretty close.

i only ask this because people all over the internet are saying use outervison for a far more accurate estimate.

Good rule of thumb is to take the partpicker estimate and add 150W for breathing room so your PSU is not strained running at the max all the time or too borderline so it can shut off from some spike in power use.

thats not really what my question was .

this setup from a wall meter is 370-380w (just the PC no monitor is added to the wattage use)
outer vision says 454w
pc part picker says 409w

CPU is clocked at 4.7ghz at 1.28v
GPU hits 2050mhz core and 4202mhz memory
with a 112% power limit
memory is ddr4 3200mhz with 1.35V

pc part picker is within reason but outer vision is not even close.
is what i'm saying.
