measure what its pad sizes were on its vram and mosfets
(they may not all be the same thickness)

they can be from .5mm to over 5mm thick
and order the correct ones

as for paste, mx5 or many other silver based pastes are good

Pick up some 0.5 and 1mm should have you covered tbh, if by chance they used 1.5mm or 2mm you can double up.

It says right there: Die Size 392mm^2.
Usually silvers are good, go with what builders like best today (not up to speed).

that has nothing to do with the thermal pads
thats the size of the gpu die

stacking thermal pads is a bad idea too, its adds air gaps between them, a single pad is best
too thick can be ok, it will put extra pressure on the mosfets or ram, but less pressure on the gpu core when the cooler is installed, may warp the pcb some

just measure orig pad for a mosfet and vram when you take it apart (they will not be the same height, and gpu cooler may be shaped differently for their areas)

They make thermal putty thermal pad replacement goop for video cards[www.newegg.com] so you can apply an amount on an as-needed basis. I have no idea of how well it works though.
