Once done, re enter bios and reset bios back to all defaults. Save and exit. Spam F8 key to stop OS from loading up. Shutdown PC, swap cpus
1) Turn off Fast Boot in Bios, that skips checks of HW for Compatibility.
2) Update Bios to accommodate newer HW. Check specifics before doing this.

powering without the battery can corrupt bios setting, which could force it to reset if it notices that the settings are not correct, or can cause bigger problems if it does not
I sent the computer in a store and they figured out there was a WINDOWS update happeining right when I closed the computer to change the CPU so it broke the Windows copy... They managed to repair and now everything works fine, I just have to buy a new ram stick ^^
