microphone makes harsh noise at random
ive had this issue across multiple microphones, computers, and even states where my microphone sometimes makes a harsh insect like noise that earrapes all my friends. I've heard its something to do with it being near other wires, but its still happened even if i make sure its wire does not touch anything else at all

Any magnets close by?

Maybe clean the jack with a thin q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

You need to look at the power bar you are plugged into, and maybe try to spread the plugs out a bit too. A power conditioner will also get rid of the surges, noises, and overall instability that is causing your noise issue.

TLDR you have EMI/RFI noise that needs attenuating. Furman is a good brand. This is my guess if you notice an electrical noise pulsating, or increasing in sound & frequency with the movement of your wiring, plugging, unplugging, etc.

is it a usb mic, or using the mic 1/8in/ 3mm headphone jack inputs

it may be drivers

usb, get the correct chipset drivers
analog, also get the correct audio driver too
either way also get the correct lan drivers too

from the mobo or oem sites
just get them all
