Here is one source, scroll down to find cpu (i5 4590 or higher), RAM (8GB) and gpu:
https://smartglasseshub.com/oculus-quest-2-pc-requirements/
Here's a source that does list the 1050Ti:
https://www.canirunthegame.com/oculus-quest-2-system-requirements/
If you go by the above source, even if you upgraded your RAM to 8 GB, the remainder is iffy as the cpu is weak. If you had the gpu already, you could test this system with SteamVR Performance Test to see where you'd be on the spectrum. This is a free program available at the Steam store.
Edited to replace a link that wasn't loading properly.
i7 4770/4790 or newer (12th Gen i5 would do fine also)
16GB RAM
GTX 1070 or better
At least one SSD
Windows 10 64bit 21H2 or later
However with a QUEST 2 VR, this can download and play games without any other connected device.

Well GTX 16 series is kind of trash. You'd have no problems if you had a better GPU. Even a GTX 1080 would be like 200% better.
1060 3g was ok, but weaker than the 6g which has more cores/tmus/rops enabled
I had i5 3550, 8gb ram, and GTX 1050 ti and it was good for games like superhot vr and beat sabre.
If you upgrade your ram to 8gb you probably can do it, but would definitely work if you also upgrade to an i5
falling below that will make you nauseous
kinda why the 1060 was the min when vr started to go mainstream
I would suggest just going to a VR arcade if there is one near you, it's likely to end up being a lot cheaper unless you'd be playing for hours every single day, which is not really recommended.
Have fun
