If all you need is decent FPS for general 1080p needs, it's fine
yeah, i didn't hear good things about asus either..
since i've never owned and used an amd graphics card before, only a cpu from amd, i don't know about all the drivers and overall performance complainings specifically for this graphics card.
I haven't had any issues with drivers when I used that card for gaming, aside from that overclocking mishap, From experience Nvidia and AMD are pretty much on par when it comes to driver quality, both have their own set of issues from time to time.
AMD cards don't do well with ray tracing which in all honestly the price bracket that the 6600xt is in, ray tracing is just not in the budget even for Nvidia in that range unless you look on the used market.
Its a great 1080p card, can even handle 1440p decently enough on a lot of titles still. I would worry about it being Asus, like I said its probably one of the better AMD brands for AMD cards, its mostly just dealing with Asus when you have a problem.
Crossfire Asus Strix RX-570 over here, still running 6 years strong.
