RTX 3060 fans not spinning when idle on desktop

That's completely normal. The reason I know is because I have several rtx 3060 and none of them operate the fans on idle.

You can use MSI afterburner to create a profile.

Lots of GPU fans don't spin till it reaches a specific temp. 50 degrees is a common temp to engage fans. There is no need to spin fans when it'll work fine without the running. This makes for a quieter system when GPU is not under intensive loads.

It's completely normal. The card throttles down at the desktop minimizing its power consumption and heat output.

Use a custom fan curve and set Nvidia Control Panel Power to Prefer Max Performance

I use MSI afterburner, you can custom set your fan curve as you like (I also hate my GPU fans not spinning, the cooler the better)

^ Yes this is basically a must to use and learn because the gpu defaults are always terrible
