Both of those are considered entry level GPUs - but would be ok for entry-level gaming! Of these the 4060 is better. For example it should give you 60FPS on a 1440p display on high (not ultra) settings for games like Elden Ring. I'd be happy with that.

Those CPUs are capable of supporting a much stronger GPU.

Forgot to add,, may also be able to get this one... (guessing this is the best ?) I cant tell as it looks like the same computer but a different RAM and Graphics card? Thank you so much!

Dell
13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700
Windows 11 Home
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti
16 GB: 2 x 8 GB, DDR5, 4800 MT/s; up to 64 GB
512 GB, M.2, PCIe NVMe, SSD
You should probably find some better company for pre-made PC then Dell. All those options are kinda bad. 512 GB SSD is a joke these days with the size of the games hitting 150 GB.

Avoid most pre-builts, especially from Dell and HP as they fairly often use proprietary motherboards, cases, and power supplies that are meant to prevent you from upgrading to anything other than something made by the OEM for that machine.

If that is Age of Empires etc - then yes, both of those are quite a bit stronger than the recommended system requirements for that game. Keep in mind that later on you might want to play something more demanding ...

But if you are not too concerned about upgradability, then either of those would be just fine. Dell is a good company for office PCs. However, consider getting more storage when you order the box - either a larger SSD or a second SSD - looking at their website just now those are both options.

However, you might get something cheaper from a specialist store - for instance here in Australia this one is 2/3 the price of the Dells: https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/ready-to-run-pcs/gaming-pc/108980-r2r10246

at what resolution you want to play?
and what setting.

for aoe2 :

3050 is only suited for 1080p medium settings (at 90fps)

4060 can run 1080p medium settings perfect (120fps) 1080p ultra settings good (at 80fps) or 1440p ultra settings playable (at 60fps)

4060ti can run 1440p ultra settings good(at 80fps) 1080p ultra settings excelent (at 100fps)

all three options is ok options. hesitant to recommend pc's supplied by dell or hp or any other brand as they usually, not always, will install other software what is not necessary. with the 512 gb ssd drive, you can consider that more as a OS drive and a few basic software. games, depending on how many games you have and want to have installed, then anything from 1 terrabyte and upwards. with ram i will suggest the DDR5 option then the DDR4, as ddr5 is newer option. But if you can get a IT store or some IT person (that is if you don't want to get the parts yourself or put it together) you will get it little bit better pc then the prebuilt stuff

In your case by given options, go for ::

Dell
Intel® Core™ i7 14700F
Windows 11 Home
NVIDIA® RTX™ 4060
16 GB DDR5
1 TB SSD

Your fun begins at 3070 Ti , or 4070
