There's no good chassis that's going to block out dust without also being extremely restrictive with airflow, just blow the dust out of the PC every 6~12 months and you're good, prioritise airflow otherwise modern hardware will just run hotter than expected all of the time if there isn't enough

I'm pretty happy with my black Fractal design Define 7 case it has filters almost everywhere. A very versatile case big enough for ANY GPU and where ever there's no filters I managed to use a layer of those blue breathing masks so my hardware is pretty much dust free
Just get some Tape and start Taping up the Opening Ports on the Case or cut out some Foam Filters and tape them on.

I want to second the Fractal Define R7. Excellent case. Very utilitarian, and not bad looking either. Just set it up for positive air pressure and you'll probably never need to deal with dust in your case. Just clean those filters once in a while.
you post here too?

I already told you.. there is no such a case.

what you want is either to go the route of a fully passively cooled system..
(a full passive cooled psu, a passive cooler on your cpu, and either use the grafics of your cpu.. or buy an old 2d hand coooled kalmx 1650ti.. or get a case that allows you to passively cool your gpu (stuff like the SG10)

OR... more realisticly.. create positive pressure..
**each fan has both a static pressure number and a metric volume (cm3 air per minute)
**fans always have one side they suck in air and one side they blow out air

-> now you want that the fans that suck in air into your system do so trough a filter.. and have a creater combined volume of air sucked in..
than you have in fans blowing air out.

with positive pressure in your system.. much less dust will enter your case..

there is NO need for insane amount of fans...the most basic setup is 3 fans..2 sucking air in trough a fillter creating a positive pressure while 1 blows it out to get rid of your systems heat.

if your want very high power using parts that need more fans than 1 to pump all that heat out.. than you ofcourse need also more fans sucking air in.. but as long as you have at least 1 fan more sucking air in than out you are good.

+1

You either have better air flow and more dust or less airflow and less dust.

I don’t recommend blocking the airflow.
Just get a PC electric duster on amazon for like $20.
yeah, fractal design makes some pretty good cases

Compared to stuff like coolermaster, those cases I always found just too much dust
Any case will have a significant amount of dust buildup inside if you never clean it... and the rate of how dusty it gets is directly impacted by the environment surrounding the machine more than anything else, if it's in an environment that produces a lot of dust of any kind or is used in a workshop environment (i.e. where it could be subject to sawdust or other debris) then it needs to be cleaned very regularly, at least once or twice per month if not every single week... or day.

invest in an air purifier. that will cut down dust drastically.. as for case choice, these days any good quality case should have dust screens, which definitely helps.. i have a phantecks evolv x and it's one of the best cases i've ever bought.. both great looking and highly functional for years and years. got mine 5 years ago and it's housing it's second pc build.
Dust is rarely ever an actual problem.

Also, rather than buying a new case, wouldn't it just make more sense to buy mesh dust filters for your existing case? If worse comes to worse you can make your own from stocking nylon.[www.pcgamesn.com]

It's always going to be a compromise between airflow and dust filtration though, and truth be told, it'd probably be better to just buy a cheap air compressor[www.amazon.com], tape down your fans and blow out your computer say maybe every six months...

if its in a harsh environment, you can do a low power build
i3 or pentium g, and use a good tower cooler, with one fan, and block off all the case vents

then no air in/out of the case, except the psu
with moderate loads the case itself can release more heat than the cpu produces
google something like 'pc magnetic filter'
loads of dust filters you could add to your case.
we get alot of dust in our house but probly clean pc out every 3-4mths my case is pretty good - fine mesh and filters

Corsair 4000D comes to mind, but there's no such thing as no PC cleaning.
I suggest you buy something permanent, like the XPower dust blower.
Comes with 2 settings - tornado wind & hurricane wind. Use accordingly.
i use an open-air case mounted 6' off the ground on a VESA mount that i can move around to do cables/clean. with a nice HVAC system using high MERV filters, your house should have very little dust overall. run a robovac on top of that nightly via automation and you're golden. this is with pets also.

i use an air compressor and blow it out every 6 months and it's much less dirty than any case i ever had. a case is just a giant filter collecting dust in most cases.

the best benefit? temp management has never been easier, and water is a thing of the past. get a nice air cooler and you're set. gpu takes care of itself.

then you don't even worry about things like cases, water, cleaning filters between blow outs. make your life easier, not harder :bobsburgers:
