i was looking at that one
I want to second the Fractal Define R7. Excellent case. Very utilitarian, and not bad looking either. Just set it up for positive air pressure and you'll probably never need to deal with dust in your case. Just clean those filters once in a while.
I already told you.. there is no such a case.
what you want is either to go the route of a fully passively cooled system..
(a full passive cooled psu, a passive cooler on your cpu, and either use the grafics of your cpu.. or buy an old 2d hand coooled kalmx 1650ti.. or get a case that allows you to passively cool your gpu (stuff like the SG10)
OR... more realisticly.. create positive pressure..
**each fan has both a static pressure number and a metric volume (cm3 air per minute)
**fans always have one side they suck in air and one side they blow out air
-> now you want that the fans that suck in air into your system do so trough a filter.. and have a creater combined volume of air sucked in..
than you have in fans blowing air out.
with positive pressure in your system.. much less dust will enter your case..
there is NO need for insane amount of fans...the most basic setup is 3 fans..2 sucking air in trough a fillter creating a positive pressure while 1 blows it out to get rid of your systems heat.
if your want very high power using parts that need more fans than 1 to pump all that heat out.. than you ofcourse need also more fans sucking air in.. but as long as you have at least 1 fan more sucking air in than out you are good.
You either have better air flow and more dust or less airflow and less dust.
I don’t recommend blocking the airflow.
Just get a PC electric duster on amazon for like $20.
Compared to stuff like coolermaster, those cases I always found just too much dust
Also, rather than buying a new case, wouldn't it just make more sense to buy mesh dust filters for your existing case? If worse comes to worse you can make your own from stocking nylon.[www.pcgamesn.com]
It's always going to be a compromise between airflow and dust filtration though, and truth be told, it'd probably be better to just buy a cheap air compressor[www.amazon.com], tape down your fans and blow out your computer say maybe every six months...
i3 or pentium g, and use a good tower cooler, with one fan, and block off all the case vents
then no air in/out of the case, except the psu
with moderate loads the case itself can release more heat than the cpu produces
loads of dust filters you could add to your case.
we get alot of dust in our house but probly clean pc out every 3-4mths my case is pretty good - fine mesh and filters
I suggest you buy something permanent, like the XPower dust blower.
Comes with 2 settings - tornado wind & hurricane wind. Use accordingly.
i use an air compressor and blow it out every 6 months and it's much less dirty than any case i ever had. a case is just a giant filter collecting dust in most cases.
the best benefit? temp management has never been easier, and water is a thing of the past. get a nice air cooler and you're set. gpu takes care of itself.
then you don't even worry about things like cases, water, cleaning filters between blow outs. make your life easier, not harder
