Phone charging speed.
Do others prefer slow charging too?

When I plug in my S24 Ultra it takes roughly three hours to charge to 100%.

I prefer slow charging as Samsung claimed that it would increase the battery charge cycles from 1000 to 3000 charges.

My battery also lasts roughly two days under medium usage and roughly three days under low usage.

I charge it when sleeping, so charging time doesn't matter.

the default behavior of my phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max) is to fast charge (at 18W) until 80% and then move to slow charging.

Same here, but I set it to "Adaptive Learning" and "Fast Charging: Off".

slow charging is better for the battery

but if you want to replace the phone every year or two, use fast charge

That's actually fairly dumb to do because no phone/tablet takes all that long to fully charge. 6+ hours connected to the wall topping off the battery is why you'll end up having a dying battery before you are ready to buy a new device. 15W charging is more then enough for most devices.

storage charge on a lipo/liion battery is around 80%
topping it off at night isnt bad, as long as you drain it to around 60% during daily use

if you only use around 10-15% a day, then charge it every 2-3 days

15W is slow enough as it is, I can't see using anything less. Unless perhaps it happens to be a phone that doesn't support that high.

You can if the phone supports it. I have a Samsung Galaxy and Note that supports up to 45W Super-Quick Charging.

And I still use a 7.5W charger that charges my phone's battery from 40% to 80% in about an hour.

My SONY Xperia 5 II still charges from 30% to 80% in less than 30 minutes . . .
Uses the stock "Charger UCH 32 C" @ 18 W via USB-C . . .

SONY is and ever been of HIGH QUALITY

I've brought my phone back from the eternal Hades before and it got to about 30% in maybe 10 minutes of charging, it was pretty cool.

A completely dead battery gets to a higher charge than a slightly charged battery, from personal experience, which I don't fully understand, but once the battery is being told it needs to allow components to draw from it as a power source instead of the wall just eternally going into the power source, it keeps the battery as a battery

Edit:
If you fast charge it, I would do so only if it's about 20% or lower, get it to a full charge, then disconnect and use as normal. Can always put it into power saving mode, or save even more power with developer options
