Phone charging speed.
Do others prefer slow charging too?

When I plug in my S24 Ultra it takes roughly three hours to charge to 100%.

I prefer slow charging as Samsung claimed that it would increase the battery charge cycles from 1000 to 3000 charges.

My battery also lasts roughly two days under medium usage and roughly three days under low usage.

Make sure you are using both a charger that supports 45-watt fast charging and a cable that also supports it. If you are using only the charger that came in the box with your phone then it does not support 45-watt fast charging mode. If you want your phone to recharge at the maximum speed it's capable of then you must use a different charger from a different company (NOT the one included in the box with it). I suggest Anker's chargers and Anker's charging cables. I've had great luck with them.

Yes not all cables are the same. For 45W usually need to be a beefier/thicker cable and also not too long. Such as 6-10 feet or less helps a bit.

The Samsung wall charger that came with my Galaxy A32 5G is Type-A on charger side, Type-C on phone side. 15W max

My Galaxy S21 Note and S23 Ultra supports up to 45W. I purchased a Samsung 45W wall charger separately but this one is Type-C on the charger side.

I also have a decent spare which is Anker USB wall charger. I think it can do either 65W or 100W max don't remember but it has two ports I can use at the same time; 1x Type-A and 1x Type-C

I buy all thick braided cables to ensure power delivery isn't a problem and also to ensure they are good in case I ever need to do wired data transfers.

I usually just charge using a 15W option but the Note is almost 4 years old and has been charged up once each day off the 45W and hasn't had any issues. Even when the battery does run down to 10%. Only a couple times I was so busy and forgot and it ran down to around 2--5%

But yea I'm not sure about other phones like Motorola as every time I work on one for a friend cleaning up junk, I can't stand tbat dsitro of Android and how clunky the UI is. The Samsung Galaxy A and S tbat are 5G are all quite good. I have used others but don't really like them. Google Pixel is another that are just cheapjunk. So many Pixel I've seen the battery overheat and physically expand, thus killing the phone unless you know someone good who can replace the battery and such.
