Steam Deck has no audio when I plug in a PS5 controller
I plugged a PS5 controller directly into my steam deck and for some reason no sound is coming out of the system. I noticed the audio settings defaulted to the Dualsense but when I tried changing it to default there was still nothing. Any ideas?

Without controller connected change the default to the Deck or if you have it linked to a TV change it to the TV. Then when you connect a controller it shouldn't switch

dualsense does have sound, so try changing the sound device back to its speakers

Tried that but still nothing. I had to reset the steam deck to get audio back but only if I unplugged my dualsense.
I should mentioned I don't have a dock and i'm directly connecting the cable to the deck itself

Change to Speakers before launching a game.

Fixes this without having to disable the audio input/output.
