Scratch on PS5 power supply pin?

I know its not entirely a PC issue but if it's hardware related I'm hoping someone might know about this issue. I found a scratch on one of the power supply pins (on the console not the power cord), I noticed it when I was plugging my playstation back in and felt it going in differently. Could this cause problems and should I get in contact with Sony?

Possibly, I'm not sure. All I know is it's got two gold pins at the back of the PS5 which connects to a fig figure 8 cable. I'm talking about the power port behind the PS5 that has the scratch not the cable.

you will be fine., even main plugs get their pins scratched easily and they work fine.

the figure 8 power cable is very generic even though it's been standard for the last 2 gens.

Thanks for the reply dude, just been paranoid the past few days on wether the console would work properly.
