Can I find out if software has rebooted my PC?
I'm on Windows 10.

Is there a way to tell if anything initiated the last reboot on my PC?

It's restarted itself twice today without warning.

I don't know if it's a hardware issue yet, I haven't checked yet. I've no idea how to check if a piece of software or something else has forced the restart though, is this possible or no?

It is a restart as well, not a shut down.

Juat look at the time stamps shouldn't be that hard to find if you know around what time it happened.

I wasn't aware Event Viewer was a thing. Thanks. It's helping I think.

Seriously?

When you right click the StartMenu (Win Logo Icon) you should be, or get familiar with everything that's listed there.

What will also help is to learn all of the OS Shortcuts as well.
Such as...

WINKEY +
E (File Explorer)

I (Settings)

U (Display / Graphics Setting)

L (Lock the PC)

P (To toggle Screen options; this requires you hold WINKEY while you cycle through the options with the P key)

G (Xbox Gamebar; on various apps that support it, such as Games; this also has further hotkeys for things such as Screen Recording; etc.)

CTRL +

Z (Undo)
X (Cut)
C (Copy)
V (Paste)

CTRL + SHIFT + ESC = Task Manager

CTRL + ALT + DEL = Provides quick access to many options such as Log-off, Switch User, Lock PC, Restart, Shutdown; etc.

ALT + TAB -or- WINKEY + TAB (switch between Apps and/or Desktops very easily)
