LG 2010 5.1 surround system issue
The amplifier changes channels automatically , but this only happens when its on "sterio" if i have it on 5.1 its fine...

seems that when i switch it around to stereo it wont last long before it goes ape poop and stars cycling through all the modes and i lose sound

anyone know why it would behave like that ?

how is it connected to the pc?

hdmi, optical/spdif, analog?

it may be something simple as realtek control panel not set to run as administrator, and cant save settings on reboot

its using the gpus sound card
not the onboard

in windows audio settings, disable all unused audio devices
and configure the gpus sound card to 5.1

Damn i think u might be right , cus all my monitors are active as speakers right now , i will do some test runs and look it to it thanks.

the HDMI option in NVIDIA , setup digital audio has the option to keep it at the LG surround system or turn it off , i assume you mean i should keep that on and just disable the rest in volume settings.

if you turn off monitors with speakers, windows sees them as disconnect and reconnect, then tries to use the newly connected audio device
