explorer.exe - The memory could not be written
Lately, I've been encountering the following message every time I restart or shut down my Windows 11 computer:

The instruction at 0x00007FFE08E83ACA referenced memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written. Click 'OK' to terminate the program.

Specifications:
- Windows 11 Pro
- AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Processor
- Gigabyte B650i Aorus Ultra Motherboard, DDR5
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Gigabyte Windforce OC 12G Graphics Card
- Kingston Fury Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 RAM
- Kingston Fury Renegade 1 TB M.2 2280 PCIe Storage
- Wireless Xbox Controller <----

I began noticing this error after installing Helldivers 2.
Could it be related to its anti-cheat system?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Right-click the Start button > Terminal (Admin)

Type under the terminal or command prompt (Admin): SFC /scannow
(this will check your Windows critical files and attempt to repair them if corrupted/missing)

You can also try run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
(this will get the latest copy of your Windows build from online to check against)
then rerun: SFC /scannow

If no errors detected...

Search/Run: Windows Memory Diagnostic
(restart and check your RAM for possible issues/damage)

Both checks will take a little while to perform. If your RAM (memory) has issues, you want to remove them all, except 1 stick and recheck that one, then replace the damaged RAM.

ps: Note next time it occurs if there's a file name EXE (top-left) on the error message popup box (if an Application Error), it will help find the root cause

pss: Since you mentioned it started after you installed "Helldivers 2" but not while it's running, it's could be likely the background Xbox game bar / Xbox app service (Win+G) which is corrupted under Win 11. Press Win + I and under Settings go Apps > Installed Apps > Xbox Live (and/or Xbox), you should find under Reset a "Repair" button there for it.

If it happens at times that are reproducible (especially only during startup or shutdown) and the system is otherwise fine, I agree with the above; this error is usually a software issue rather than a hardware one.

You could test memory and storage and do the typical checks on the OS files to rule out hardware or OS corruption, but it's likely a software issue, especially if it started after you installed something.
had two time that error on my previous 13900k and ddr5 gskill. It happened when i was restarting pc. Nothing wrong

I typed the command you mentioned and it apparently solved the problem. 🙌

sfc /scannow

Here is the result:
