What is the best way to install windows 11?
About 2 months ago i talked with one of my colleagues at the office about windows 11 and how to install it on pc that dont have the requirements. He told md that he installed it succesfuly on his parents pc that is from 2012 and also at the pc on the office and both of them work well with it. He then suggest me that instead of changing cpu ram and motjherboard it is better if i install it with Rufus or with the registry method and save some money and keep my current cpu ram and motherboard until they die.
I trust him because i know him for 6 years. But after i read here the 3 methods to do it https://www.xda-developers.com/install-windows-11-unsupported-pc/
i wonder which one is the best?
1 Rufus?
2 Command prompt
or registry?
Which one of the 3 will be best?

I usually use Rufus for Windows.
Rufus is reliable and all, compared to Media Creation Tool.
Plus if you have a PC that MS says does not meet the Win11 requirements you can force it on there by disabling those requirements with Rufus when you go to make the media. Plus Rufus is also helpful if the PC is older and only has Legacy BIOS, then can choose to make your boot media for Legacy vs UEFI. If you were to use MCT on a new PC it will be UEFI and won't even be bootable on legacy PCs.

Then just get latest ISO of Win11 directly from MS.

When you do go to install, do a clean install, no question there.

And when you go to install, select one of the countries that are part of the EU, then your preferred Language. This will install your Win11 under the new EU privacy consumer law agreement and give you options later on once the OS is installed to fully uninstall things like Edge and OneDrive.

No.you download the iso and rufus (install if you have to or whatever). Then you run Rufus and from within Rufus, Rufus will allow you to select that ISO and it will do the copying of that data to the drive.

When it's done the USB will be a ready to go WIndows installer. That's when you boot off of it and Rufus and the ISO is not your problem anymore and you need to do the Windows install.

Hopefully this was clear enough, I'm not sure if I misunderstood what you asked and explained this for no reason though.
im only using rufus for now on easy local account creation and ability to disable telemetry

You don't installl Rufus, it's just one file and you just run it.

You need to go download the OS ISO file via the Win11 website. Then run Rufus and in there pick the ISO file. Before you launch Rufus first connect the usb flash drive you will be wiping to make the boot drive

You put the Windows 11 .iso on your computer's internal disk drive.

You run Rufus on your current installation of windows Rufus to write the .iso onto the thumb drive, so it can configure the drive as a bootable one while copying the data over. Rufus needs to copy data over from the iso.

It shall have a setup wizard with some options. You can choose to bypass tpm from there.

You install Windows like normal after Rufus is done with the thumb drive.

You shouldn't bypass the hardware requirements of Win 11.
Just stick with Win 10 instead or go for another Operating System.

The entire reason of Win 11 is mostly just to secure the boot stage. It's been exploited in the previous versions, which can allow rootkit malware infect your system before your anti-virus scanner can detect it. Win 11 adds a hardware isolation layer to that, yet needs that hardware to be able to do just that. Without it, you are merely back to Win 10's level of security anyways.

Keeping your Windows version up to date just to keep it up to date is wise, unless you specifically need the older version or Windows. It's plausible that some software developer with an overzealous fetish for O.S. level security and discontinuing support for older O.Ses. will drop WIndows 10 support for practically no reason, just like how chrome (and subsequently steam) dropped Windows 10 support for practically no reason.

Same way we 100 percent trust Steam hehe
if u think about it rufus is a huge potential for abuse or backdoor or something, everyone uses it
rufus is fine, use it or dont.

You mean like if it were to take your clean iso and inject some kind of "totally OS unaware" rootkit/uefi payload that in reality drives your pc with a virus-loaded "sub-os" or whatever that's between the hardware and the actual OS and nobody knows this is going on?
