there exists buffed Crucial DDR4 5100 MHz RAM, but you need a compatible board for that . . .and these are even more expensive than a DDR5 counterpart !!
DDR5 @ minimum 4800 is the way to go nowadays, 5600 better standard
However, while DDR4 still have a low CL (latency) of 16, DDR5 have a higher CL of 30 !!
So a DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 is as good as a DDR5 6400 CL32 in theory !!
Of course there are still variables and differences . . . ::
https://www.crucial.com/support/articles-faq-memory/differences-in-memory-speed-and-data-rate
whatever you choose, sooner or later, always keep your RAM in Dual Channel mode, for example to use a 2x 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHz RAM Kit, and in rare circumstances to enable XMP mode via BIOS.
DDR5 is already future and more advanced, soon !! And DDR5 does already perform way better and is more stable than DDR4 . . .
So 2x DDR5 5600 CL30 is / can perform better than 2x DDR4 3200 CL16 . . .
Upgrade with a compatible board to 2x 16 GB DDR5 @ 5600 MHz CL30 !!
You already get this Dual Channel Kit for 120 EUR ONLY !!
That is nothing . . .
And sometimes it is even cheaper to buy RAM sticks each, instead as a Kit . . .
Paradox . . .
Hi there, thank you for responding. Will these be good for gaming then?

I thought everyone says that the best for gaming is to go for DDR5 6400MHz.
Will 2x16GB DDR5 6000MHz Ram be alright though for an i7 12700K???
I kind of getting confused whether which one to go with... Next year i will be upgrading my cpu anyway to a 14700k with a new AiO.
For now i just wanna get rid of DDR4.
also on point is the fact that if you are JUST GAMING and dont need a intel based system because you do not use Adobe or some other program, you should be looking in to a AMD based system....Intel is having massive problems with CPU's degrading in the 13th and 14th gen CPU's.....and dollar for dollar AMD is giving you move frames then intel.....like a 350 dollar 7800x3d beating 600 dollar intel chips
the other factor is upgrading as time goes on should be easier over the next 5 years VS any option from intel......
if your running out of memory now it would be better/cheaper to match times of current memory and dump in a second set to get to 32gb.....then do a whole mother, CPU and memory upgrade at one time man....then factor in, give it a year as a ton of things are coming......
Finally got a kit that runs in expo @6400MHz
My PC is at least 50% faster now. Before, I was running abysmal speeds and not even expo
