Which BIOS did you update to specifically. Wen you going into the BIOS you can confirm it's on the version you think it should be?

and make sure to use the dedicated gpu, as neither of them have an igpu, as the mobos dp/dvi/hdmi ports will not work with them
Yes must use dedicated gpu and connect displays to it since you can't use motherboard vide out since the cpu has no onboard gpu

Bios settings needs to be changed, onboard graphics need to be disabled. To see if the GPU takes over. Needs to be done, with the old CPU, then put the new one in and restart. If it still does not work, then the ports could be changed, of the GPU. Or adjust the screen to search for an other signal.
So are you saying, OP has no GPU just an onboard one.
